30 Day Return Period

A majority of the products we sell may be returned up to 30 calendar days of receipt.  A RMA (Returned Material Authorization) is required for ALL returns.  Please contact us before attempting to return any items.  A receipt is required.  Otherwise, they will be rejected.  In most cases, returns will be accepted if the product is in new, not-installed and unused condition with all original packaging and paperwork or if the item is proven defective.  Items damaged during shipping are expected to be covered under shipping insurance if available.  BaneSpeed will not cover for damages incurred during or after shipment.  After 30 days all warranty or other issues must be handled with the product manufacturer.

Condition of Return Items & Restock Fees

Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected. If the item is damaged from installation, is missing components, manuals, original packaging, the product serial number doesn’t match the original serial number we shipped out, or for any reason the product is deemed not re-salable due to customer actions, at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking fee of up to 25% may be assessed. Some items such as exhaust systems might have a re-boxing fee of up to $35 if the box is damaged to the point where it is no longer serviceable.

Restocking Fees

Regardless of return condition, most items have a restocking fee between 15-25%.  Please contact us to determine whether or not a restocking fee will apply prior to submitting your return request.  Restocking fees are typically derived from either distributors or manufacturer.  Either way, we simply have to pass it along.  Otherwise, we attempt to eliminate or reduce such charges of possible.

Return Process

Contact us within 3 business days of receiving your item and we will email detailed return instructions to you.  Unless the reason for return is due to manufacturer defect or our error, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Please allow 3-5 business days from the time the product arrives at our warehouse until your refund or replacement product is processed.

If you are to receive a replacement product, you will be emailed tracking information for your new item. If you are to receive a refund, your original payment method will be credited the purchase price. You will receive an email confirmation when we submit your credit. Please allow up to 7 business days for your bank to process the credit to your card.

Returns with missing components will not be credited. Parts that have been disassembled, altered, or damaged due to incorrect installation or any other reason will not be credited. We are not responsible for incorrect installation. We are also not responsible for any expenses accrued or caused by the use of improper or defective parts during installation. These expenses include towing, labor, repair or rental car expenses.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Non-Returnable Items

Some custom-order or special-order items are not returnable.  We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.  These include (but are not limited to) all Lug Nuts, turbos, clutches and suspension kits.  If you experience issues with one of these non-returnable items, we will do everything we can to help, but all warranty work and tech support must go through the product manufacturer.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale or discounted/discontinued items cannot be refunded.
